 Upgrades at South Court

1 June – Upgraded all our sheets and pillowcases to 100% cotton 400+ thread count.  We starch and hand iron our sheets and pillowcases.

16 June - Upgraded the Edith Hayes bath with a new floor, hardware, water closet and multi-jet whirlpool tub.

2 July – Implemented our Baccarat Breakfast using Baccarat’s Harcourt pattern lead crystal for all breakfast service.  As always, breakfast remains a fun time to enjoy good food, talk with other guests and learn about the Victorian era.  The Baccarat just adds more fun to an already sparkling occasion!

14 July – Upgraded breakfast napkins to 100% Irish damask linen. 

19 August – Upgraded the Emma Glenn bath with a new 6-foot multi-jet whirlpool bath, hardware, water closet and hardwood floor.

24 August – Added new CD players to all our bedrooms.

26 August – Added cable connected TV with DVD player to the Emma Glenn room.

8 September – Opened the Margaret Bland room featuring a grand king-sized canopy bed, recliner, club chair, 35-inch TV, CD, DVD, and VHS players, and Venetian plaster finished bathroom with a new 2-person multi-jet whirlpool tub, water closet, sink, and hardware throughout.

17 September – Replaced all our towels and robes with 100% cotton, resort quality products.  All our rooms now feature 35x70-inch bath sheets and luxurious cotton velour robes with extra soft cotton terry lining.  Next to the whirlpool tubs and TVs, these new towels and robes have been the hit of the season!

13 October – Added cable-connected LCD TVs and DVD players to the Edith Hayes and Mary Kennard rooms.
